As a mobile exhibition, Dongshankou in Guangzhou serves as the inaugural location for the Brompton Museum.

Brompton bicycles have been meticulously handcrafted in London for over 47 years. Their elegant and functional design is instantly recognizable, featuring compact dimensions that enable the bikes to be easily folded and stored.
To showcase Brompton’s rich legacy and the evolution of its innovative industrial design, we have created custom teak display cubes to serve as sleek showcases for 31 limited edition Brompton bikes. The teak cubes are strategically scattered across the exhibition space, each featuring a spotlighted Brompton bike within.
At one corner of the exhibition space is a simple replica of part of Brompton's factory assembly line, hand-crafted to reflect the care and manual expertise that goes into each bike.
Besides the replica assembly line is an array of Brompton components, luggage, and accessories artfully exhibited on sleek plinths—each item given the spotlight to highlight clever features and meticulous craftsmanship.
The exhibition space transports visitors into Brompton's captivating world, integrating literature and archival documents to provide intriguing narratives and insights.
From experimental prototypes to modern classics, the diversity and longevity of Brompton's catalog are brought to life. This curated experience elucidates not just the machines themselves but the passion and ingenuity behind one of Britain's design success stories.

The museum remains divided into several distinct sections: the Brompton Limited Editions gallery showcasing the brand's rarest and most exclusive bicycle models, the Brompton History area tracing the evolution of the Brompton bike, the Brompton Factory Exhibit providing a behind-the-scenes look at production, the Brompton Luggage Display highlighting the progression of their innovative front carriers, the Brompton Components Gallery exhibiting the development of individual parts, and finally the Brompton Brand Literature showcase presenting archival marketing materials and documentation.

Embracing the themes of sustainability and environmental consciousness, this exhibition ingeniously repurposes the very shipping boxes used to transport the Brompton bicycles as display pedestals for the limited-edition models.
This creative approach not only highlights the brand's innovative engineering but also underscores its commitment to minimizing environmental impact. Moreover, the exhibition utilizes P2 wood boards, similar in color to corrugated cardboard, as dividers, clearly delineating different areas and allowing each bicycle to take center stage.
Through this inventive design, Brompton offers visitors a visual feast while simultaneously conveying a powerful message of sustainability and eco-friendliness, delivering a truly refreshing and thought-provoking experience.
